The Surf Camera case has an inside bead to hold your camera in place while being pounded by 20 foot waves but will quickly eject out from the case for that quick surf photo by pulling on a floating handle (included) and can quickly insert back in so you can surf the next wave for yourself. And in case you drop your camera while it's out of the case, don't panic, it comes with a retractable cord too.

We here at Surf Camera have every type of waterproof digital camera from Pentax & Olympus. After 100's of hours of surfing with these cameras the Pentax came out way on top. The Pentax is a better user friendly camera compared to the Olympus which has too many non-usable mode features. Another different feature that's great with the Pentax's is that you can turn off the auto shut-off mode. That way whey you suddenly see a great surfer shot, the Pentax is ready. That part of Olympus is frustrating because of too many missed shots from it shutting itself off. The battery in the Pentax will last well over two hours while always on which is the length of a normal surf session. As far as the quality goes they are both pretty much equivalent. Also, when editing brightness and sharpness on the still pics, the Pentax will edit better than the Oly.

With either brand of camera though, your good. They all fit snug and securely in the Surf Camera case. But after testing them both out we feel it's better to go the the Pentax W60.
